The Dog Anxiety
Foundations Course
A complete, science-based framework for understanding why your dog is anxious, and what actually helps. Built for pet parents, not just professionals.
- Recognize the subtle body-language signals you've been missing
- Understand how stress and physical health are connected
- Learn evidence-based behavior modification techniques
- Know when and how medication fits into a treatment plan

My Approach
Clinical science, taught with warmth.
Mental and physical health are intrinsically connected. I treat anxiety and behavior conditions the way I would any other condition: a real diagnosis, a plan built on evidence, and language you can actually use at home.
Clinically grounded
Techniques grounded in evidence, not dominance myths or TikTok trends.
Whole-pet
Behavior is medicine. The physical, emotional, and environmental roots of anxiety are addressed together.

Meet Your Instructor
Dr. Rachel Malamed,
DVM, DACVB
I'm a veterinary psychiatrist, one of a small number of veterinarians in the world board-certified in veterinary behavior medicine (DACVB). For nearly two decades I've worked with families and referring vets to treat anxiety, aggression, and compulsive disorders, combining behavior modification, environmental design, and medication, which is often used to help alleviate anxiety and improve a pet's welfare.
Pet Psychiatry Hub is my way of putting that specialist-level care into the hands of every pet parent.

In their words
What pet parents say.
By the end of six weeks, we had a different dog. At his follow-up, our vet could not believe he was the same dog.

Dr. Malamed understood her! So far, our sleep and our beloved kitty's well-being have been restored. I can't overstate what a gigantic help Dr. Malamed's advice was! She knows her stuff. She knows pets.

What vets say
“I have referred dozens of patients to Dr. Malamed over the years, and I know my clients and patients will be in great hands.”
