Dr. Rachel Malamed, Veterinary Psychiatrist

My Approach

Clinical science, taught with warmth.

Most pet-training content is either fully playful, and loses credibility, or fully clinical, and loses connection. We carry both, because your pet deserves both.

01

Clinically grounded, always

Techniques grounded in evidence and drawn from peer-reviewed veterinary behavior research. No dominance theory. No punishment-based shortcuts. No trends.

02

Whole-pet lens

Behavior problems rarely have one cause. We consider medical, environmental, developmental, and emotional factors together, the way a specialist would.

03

Fear-free & force-free

Learning happens best in a calm, safe body. Our protocols work under threshold, at your pet's pace, using positive reinforcement.

04

Pet parent first language

You don't need a veterinary vocabulary. Concepts are explained clearly, with worksheets and examples from real households.

05

Structured, not overwhelming

Modules build on each other. You'll always know what to focus on next and why it matters.

06

Partnership with your vet

Our courses complement, never replace, your relationship with your veterinarian. You'll finish with a plan you can share.

A note on medication

Behavior medications are often used to help alleviate anxiety and improve a pet's welfare. They are a compassionate tool, not a shortcut. Our courses explain how they work, when they're indicated, and how to work with your own veterinarian to consider them. We never prescribe; we educate so you can advocate.
